The Director-General of the World Health Organisation has responded to Donald Trump’s withdrawal of funding saying he "regrets the decision" by the United States.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also said the organisation would review its handling of the global pandemic amid the President’s claims that it participated in a "cover-up" about the #coronavirus.
In his press briefing, he said the UN agency is "working with partners" to fill any gaps in funding, having already generated an extra $150 million from a "solidarity response fund".
