Donald Trump’s allies are hoping that they can buy the loyalty of the witnesses in front of the January 6th Committee by paying for their legal fees. This could easily be seen as a form of witness tampering or even intimidation by attempting to sway the testimony with financial resources. Many of the witnesses may not have the financial means to get proper representation, so the lure of money is always a significant one. Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

You know, one of the things I love the most about the, uh, legacy corporate media, whatever you wanna call it, establishment media is I love how they take a story. That’s technically, you know, like eight months old and try to repackage it as if it’s something we’re all just now learning a great example of that has happened this past week when it was revealed that Donald Trump’s political action committee, and of course, Matt sch slaps political action committee have actually been paying some of the legal fees for a lot of the January 6th witnesses. They’re acting like, oh my God, this is clearly gotta be some kind witness tampering. They’re trying to buy their loyalty. And by the way, I agree with them on that. But let’s be real here. Folks. We’ve known this, I’ve done videos on it here. I’ve done videos on it for ring of fire months ago. None of this is new information.
So why is the media treating this like, oh my God, we had no idea because apparently we only read our own stuff., we’ve known, we’ve known for quite some time, but here’s the thing I do wanna talk about it because it is of course, once again, back in the news. So it’s definitely something at least worth mentioning, right? So here’s the thing we’re dealing with right now. Cassidy Hutchinson of course, agreed to come back and speak to the January 6th committee this past Tuesday, during that emergency hearing that they had. But prior to her agreeing to this, she had switched her lawyers because she was using a lawyer that was being paid for by Trump and his friends. And she ditched them and picked her own new lawyer. We also have, uh, uh, from what these reports say about a dozen, I guess, um, Trump people who are paying the legal fees or who are having their legal fees paid by either Trump’s political action committee or the, uh, uh, uh, you know, American conservative union’s first amendment fund is what they’re calling it.
That’s a lot of people. That’s a lot of money, but Hey, don’t worry. They got your back. Folks. Lawyers are expensive. Anybody who’s ever had to hire one understands that. And let’s be very clear. Most of the people that the committee has either subpoenaed or requested, Hey, come on in and talk to us. These are not wealthy individuals, okay? They’re not all people with Trump family money. These are a lot of them are just regular old staffers working on a staffer’s salary. That’s really not enough to be able to pay for some of the best legal representation in this country. And depending on how many hours you have to have their guidance, you’re talking about tens of thousands of dollars in bills that these people simply do not have the money to pay for. So in comes the American union bull crap, whatever it is, conservative union in comes Donald Trump save America
Pack. Hey, don’t worry, buddy. You did such a good job working with our administration. We’re gonna take care of you. We’re gonna pay your legal fees for you. So you just, uh, you know, do your thing. And it’s the wink and nod of that that could end up creating a very serious problem. There technically is nothing illegal about these groups, paying the legal fees for these potential witnesses. That’s, that’s perfectly legal. It shouldn’t be, but it is where you jump into the realm of, you know, witness tampering, which is of course a federal crime is when you have the wink and the nod. Like you just, uh, remember who’s paying the bills, remember where you came from. Don’t forget your good buddies over here. You wanna stay in our good graces, then you know what to do. And in fact, that phrase right there is actually one that one of the witnesses has actually told the committee that they got from Trump’s allies.
So yes, the committee is kind of focusing now on this witness tampering thing. Um, I think this would actually be something more along the lines of what the DOJ needs to look at, but we are starting to see some evidence that this is in fact what is happening. And again, the biggest problem is that we’ve literally known fo
